After Dark

After Dark is collection of short horror stories made for late nights, stormy evenings, and moments when you probably shouldn’t have looked over your shoulder.

Each standalone story ventures somewhere different: haunted landscapes, strange places, old folklore, impossible events, and the ordinary corners of life where something has gone terribly wrong.

Read one before bed.

But, only if you’re brave enough.

After Dark #1: Fire Watch

Three nights. One isolated fire tower. And a forest that remembers.

When firefighter Alina takes a fire watch assignment deep in the forest of Evergreen Valley, she expects boredom, bad coffee, and too much time alone.

Instead, the tower begins behaving strangely. Words appear where no one could have written them. A voice calls for help from below. Familiar people appear where they shouldn’t be.

And somewhere beyond the windows, Evergreen Valley seems want to show her something it has never forgotten.

Fire Watch is a claustrophobic supernatural horror about isolation, memory, and what happens when the past refuses to stay burned.

After Dark #2: Scarecrows

Everyone wants an invitation to the Scarecrow Haunt.

Hidden beyond acres of cornfields, it is the most exclusive Halloween experiences in the country. Tickets are nearly impossible to get. The fall atmosphere is perfection. The scarecrows are disturbingly lifelike.

And this year, Anna finally gets to go.

At first, the rumors are part of the fun: the people who disappeared, workers no one remembers hiring, and the figures standing motionless between the rows long after the actors have gone home.

But the deeper Anna goes into the Scarecrow Haunt, the harder it becomes to tell where the performance ends and the true nightmare begins.
